Why we love it

A shelf can own three serums and still have nothing for the patch that got mad. Cicaplast Baume B5 is the tube people hand you when the skin has opinions: a thick, unscented balm with panthenol, shea, and centella, sold in a 40 ml tube that is smaller than the job it does.

We love the lack of plot. No perfume. No shade match. La Roche-Posay calls it a multi-purpose balm for dry, chapped, cracked skin, face and body, and the listing says it is baby safe. The listing calls it fragrance-free and describes a barrier balm with shea butter, panthenol (vitamin B5), and centella asiatica (madecassoside). It is sold as a face, body, and hand balm. It is a cosmetic, not a prescription.
