Why we love it
Every other jean is a footnote to this one. The 501 Original sits at the waist, runs regular through the thigh, and leaves in a straight leg, with a button fly that still feels like a small ceremony.
We love the non-stretch Medium Stonewash because it is the pair people mean when they say 501s, a wash with a name you can say out loud. 100% cotton. Five pockets. It will be stiff, then it will be yours. When we looked, Amazon had the 32 by 32 at $74.99 against an $84.95 list.
It will not do the stretch-denim magic of disappearing at the waistband. That is the point. These are jeans with a spine.
