Why we love it

A kitchen has one peeler that works and three that came free with a gadget. The OXO Good Grips swivel peeler is the one that stays on the hook. Twin stainless blades flex over a potato, an apple, a cucumber that has been judging you from the crisper.

We love the handle more than the blade, which is the correct ranking. It is soft, oversized, and still grippy when your hands are wet, which is the entire job description of peeling. There is a potato eye remover on the end. You will use it once, feel competent, and never go back to the dull Y-peeler from a college apartment.
