Why we love it

A laptop is a desk you carry. A phone is a slot machine with email. The 11-inch iPad is the third thing: a blue slab for the notes, the show, and the tab that did not need a hinge.

We love the specific one. The A16 chip, 128GB, Wi-Fi 6, an 11-inch Liquid Retina display, 12MP cameras front and back, Touch ID in the top button, and USB-C. The model on this configuration is MD4A4LL/A. It is Wi-Fi, not cellular, so there is no line item for a plan you did not ask for. When we looked, Amazon had the Blue 128GB at $399, in stock, sold by Amazon.com.

It will not replace the laptop on a deadline, and the Pencil is a separate purchase. It replaces the hours that wanted a bigger screen and did not want a lapful of keyboard. The Kindle can keep the book that refuses notifications. This one keeps the rest of the evening.

The longer story

This is the Apple iPad 11-inch (2025, A16 chip) in Blue, 128GB, Wi-Fi only. The model number on this configuration is MD4A4LL/A. Apple’s notes: an 11-inch Liquid Retina display, the A16 chip, all-day battery life, a 12MP front camera and a 12MP back camera, Touch ID in the top button, USB-C, and Wi-Fi 6. Storage on this link is 128GB. It does not include a cellular radio, an Apple Pencil, or a keyboard. Those are different checkouts.

Good for

  • Reading, notes, a show, and the trip that does not need a laptop
  • Someone who already lives with an iPhone and wants the current 11-inch iPad, not an Air or a Pro
  • The Blue 128GB Wi-Fi model, if that is the color and the storage

Skip it if

  • You need cellular, 256GB, 512GB, or a color that is not Blue. This page is Wi-Fi, 128GB, Blue
  • You wanted the iPad Air, the iPad Pro, or the mini. Those are different machines
  • The listing is Renewed, or it adds AppleCare you did not mean to buy. Confirm the configuration before you check out

When we looked, it was $399, in stock, sold by Amazon.com. The price moves. The deal link is the Amazon page (/dp/B0DZ75TN5F) with our Amazon Associates tag threepaths-20. Confirm the title says 11-inch, A16, 128GB, Wi-Fi, and Blue.
